Your first comment in 5 minutes
A quick walkthrough from blank screen to finalized comment.
~5 minutesCreate a subject
Tap New Subject on your dashboard and give your subject a name — something like "Watchtower Aug 12" or "TOEFL Practice Session." This is just a label to help you find it later.
Want to skip the setup? Use Quick Comment to create a subject and comment in one step.
Add your reference
Paste the paragraph, article, or prompt you'll be commenting on. This is what the coach uses to evaluate relevance — it needs to know what you're responding to.
You can paste plain text, a Watchtower article, scripture references, or even a URL to import automatically.
Write your comment
Write what you actually think. Even one sentence is enough. Don't worry about polish — that's what coaching is for.
Get coached
Tap Coach to receive feedback. You'll see scores for Clarity, Conciseness, Depth, and Relevance, plus specific suggestions for improvement.
Read the suggestions, revise if you want, then coach again. Each round builds on the last. Most comments reach their best version in 1-2 rounds.
Mark as ready
When you're satisfied, tap the finalize button. The label adapts to your context — Ready for study group, Practiced for language practice, or Prepared for standup. Your comment is finalized and waiting in your portfolio.
Tips
- Write first, coach second — always.
- A 3/5 on your own thought is better than a 5/5 on borrowed words.
- Read it out loud before finalizing. If it doesn't sound like you, it needs more of you — not more polish.
- Your data stays safe — on the server, or offline if you set up the PWA.
