Generate AI suggestions, write your own, reorder them, and build the comment you want to deliver.

Adding a paragraph to comment on

From inside a subject, tap Add Paragraph. If your subject was created from a Watchtower article, you'll see a "Pick from article" dropdown at the top — select a paragraph and it auto-fills the label, text, and study question.

Choose your mode:

  • Get Inspiration — AI generates sample comments based on the paragraph
  • Write My Own — you write the comment yourself
  • Timed — write against a countdown timer for practice

Working with generated comments

After AI generates comments, each card shows the comment text, a coaching angle label (e.g., Direct Answer, Personal Application for study group — angles vary by context), word count, and estimated speaking time.

You have several actions available:

  • Select — mark as your chosen comment for this paragraph
  • More — generate another comment in a similar style
  • Translate — get a translation to practice bilingually
  • Copy — copy the text to your clipboard
  • Edit — modify the text directly
  • Refine — give the AI specific instructions to improve the comment
  • Coach — get detailed coaching feedback with scores

Writing your own comment

Tap Write My Own to open a text editor right alongside the generated suggestions. This lets you read the AI ideas for inspiration, then write something in your own voice. Your comment is saved alongside the generated ones.

Comments you write yourself — even rough ones — create more confidence than polished AI text. Use the suggestions as a springboard, not a script.

Reordering comments

You can drag and drop comment cards to reorder them. Grab any card and drag it to a new position — you'll see a cyan highlight on the drop target. The new order is saved automatically.

This is useful when you want your preferred comment at the top, or when organizing comments by quality or style.

Combining comments

If you like elements from two different comments, tap Combine, select two cards, and the AI will merge the best parts into a single cohesive comment.

Generate More

Tap Generate More to get additional AI suggestions. Each generation counts toward your monthly AI usage. You can also tap More on any individual comment to get variations in that same style.
